Could anybody possibly help me find some birth records for Arthur Poole and Elizabeth Gartland?

Question

I know they got married in Leigh, Lancashire in December 1908, but I don't know where they were born. There's a rumour in the family that they may have emigrated from Ireland, but I don't know which part and I don't know how to go about researching their births in Ireland, and I would imagine that they docked at Liverpool as that is the nearest port. But I don't know how to check passenger lists either. Can anyone please help me find some birth record of them or just any general information about them please? Thanks.

There is no passenger ship lists between Ireland and Britain...if they came from Ireland then it was part of Britain UK and it was until 1922...................

You would need Arther and Elizabeth's marriage cert to see who his father was or try freereg on the website links page I gave you and see if it is on there.

You could also look on 1911 Uk census to see what ages they both were as that would give you some idea of DOB and can then start to cross reference the records
