For what it's worth I've found Myrtle in 1940, still looking for her in previous years. Given the last name of the question asker I suspect she may be a relative?

Yes, Boggy Bend was located north of Chicota and east of Forest Chapel very near the OK border. The area was referred to as "the Bottom" by my folks in the 50s & 60s. The land was for a time owned by the government and leased to folks for farming. In the earlier days there was a cotton gin there. Lots of history. I used to go there with my uncle Tiff Gordon when we would visit. I believe I have a hand drawn map showing some of what used to be there in the little community. If you know where Littlejohn Cemetery is, you are getting real close to Boggy Bend.

I found an obituary for a lady who was born in Boggy Bin, Texas in 1923:

So at least we know someone besides your grandfather was born there (or called it by that name). I've been looking for Myrtle and her parents to see what county they were in, but no luck so far. Will edit to add info if I find anything.

===Edit===

There was a Boggy Bend in Lamar County, TX. It's mentioned on the bottom of page 17 here:

I looked in a nationwide directory and found "Boggan Bend" in Lee County, Mississippi. Your grandfather wasn't born there, but it sounds a lot like "Boggy Bin", especially in an accent that drops the last consonant. That's an example. I agree with Paladin; you (or your informant) may be mis-spelling it due to mispronunciation. Boggy Bin may be a township, too; if so, it would not show up on a list of towns.

If you add your grandfather's name and exact birth date (assuming he isn't living) to your question, one of us may be able to find his birth record, and from that the town or township his parents were in on the 1920 census.

I believe it is Boggy Bend. I remember it as a child when my family lived near there. I had not yet started school when we left so dont remember much. I believe Chicota and a place called Bounds and also Bogata was in the vicinity. Bogata was pronounced as Bogota with the a sounding like an o. Hope this in someway helps.
