The article says "Surviving are two sons, Paul Jr., of Locust Valley and Robert, of Katonah, N.Y.; four daughters, Virginia Livermore of San Rafael, Calif., Frances Schilling of Woodside, Calif., Katherine O'Donnell of Marlborough, Mass. and Jesse Snyder of Greenwich, Conn.; 28 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren."
Out of her 60 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, I would guess that at least some are alive. However, since you do not know their names, I would start by looking for her children.
Paul G Pennoyer of Locust Valley, NY would be 90 years old if alive, and I do not know where he lives. However, Pennoyer is such a rare name that you could contact every Paul G Pennoyer in the country until you found the right one.

in Woodside, CA. I do not know if she still lives there, or is alive at all, but click the link, see the address, mail her a letter, and see what happens.
