My great grandmother I can trace her family going back into the 1700’s in PR. She’s listed white on her birth record, censuses, and my great grandmother death record. My great grandmother was born in 1902, her mother/grandparents are listed white, here are two photos of my gr grandmother in the one photo she’s sitting all the way to the left where my grandmother (daughter) is sitting all the way to the right

Her husband my great grandfather, was born in 1896 or 1898. I know his parents are from Puerto Rico as well, there’s a census that shows his parents but the only thing is the mothers name is different because on his death record it shows Cristina Rivera but on the census it’s Juana Marìa Rivera de Rivera. The thing is in that census the whole family is listed white and in all my great grandfather other censuses he’s listed white and I believe in a world war record he’s listed caucasian. Here’s a few photos of him, he had blue eyes and pale skin with darkish hair

Oh, please stop harping on this. You obsession about race is very unbecoming, and in the group, tiresome.

"Caucasian" is an old term for "white person." If a person was listed as "white" or "Caucasian" on a census was dependent which term the census worker preferred to use.

Who cares in a world that's known for decades and generation that race is fake?

Only backwards nations are still poorly-educated enough to still believe in it. Educated people know better:

'The Invention of Race in the European Middle Ages'

"In 1950, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) issued a statement asserting that all humans belong to the same species and that “race” is not a biological reality but a myth. This was a summary of the findings of an international panel of anthropologists, geneticists, sociologists, and psychologists."

All in all, the United Nations convened four such panels, in 1950, 1951, 1964 and 1967. Go look that up.

All of them confirmed what Science already proved: That the only race is the Human race. Period.

Truth is, every person on the planet is direct descendant of the Blacks who migrated out of Africa to populate Europe & the Rest of the World tens of thousands of years ago:

'DNA evidence indicates Homo sapiens evolved sooner than thought — at least 260000 years ago'

'Modern humans emerged more than 300,000 years ago new study suggests'

'White Skin Developed in Europe Only As Recently as 8000 Years Ago'

'Europeans were once black: study'

'Ancient European Had Blue Eyes And Dark Skin'

'Original Europeans Were Darker Skinned Africans'

'Europeans were dark-skinned until 8,000 years ago'

'Early Europeans were dark-skinned, research shows'

'Oldest European genome illuminates diverse ancestry'

'Europeans did not inherit pale skins from Neanderthals'

'Black Africans Were The First Europeans, Say Scientists'

'Scientists Reveal the First European Faces Were Not 'White'

'The First (Black) Europeans: The Original Africans Of Europe'

'Europeans were dark-skinned from 40,000 until 8,000 years ago'

'European Gene for Light Skin Evolved Much Later Than Thought'

'DNA Tests Show Ancient European Hunters Were Dark Skinned'

Truth is, the only race is the Human Race.

Skin colour is as irrelevant to that as hair and eye colour since the same stuff in every Human determines all 3:

PR is an island of a mixed cultural and ethnic makeup. From a GEnealogical perspective Pictures are not used to determine ethnic origin. You could start with yourself and trace your family back one generation at a time, documenting your findings using Birth, Marriage, Death records and other legal documents.

OR

you could have DNA testing done which will show you at least some of your ethnic ancestry

I have a plan for you. Print out those pictures, paste them onto a shoebox, cut a hole in the top and start putting your spare change in it. When you've saved about $200-300, visit this page...

...and hire one the professional genealogists who specialize in Puerto Rican research. They will (hopefully) be able to find some actual records in Puerto Rico that will answer your family history questions.

That is probably the only way you're going to get to the bottom of this.
